Rolex GMT-Master II Root Beer Watch
£19,995.00
SKU: STK024690
Few watches blend heritage, sophistication, and modern edge quite like the Rolex GMT-Master II ‘Root Beer’. Instantly recognizable by its warm Eve rose gold and stainless steel construction, this timepiece is a masterclass in contrast where tool-watch functionality meets unmistakable luxury. Nicknamed the “Root Beer” for its rich, black and brown Cerachrom bezel, this GMT is a nostalgic nod to vintage Rolex models of the 1960s and ’70s, reimagined with contemporary flair. The Eve rose gold accents on the bezel, dial, and bracelet elevate its aesthetic, casting a warm glow that sets it apart in any collection.

Rolex was founded by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis in London, England in 1905 as Wilsdorf and Davis, Rolex moved its base of operations to Geneva, Switzerland in 1919.
Rolex first started experimenting with mechanical chronographs during the 1930s, but it was not until 1963, with the introduction of the reference 6239, that an actual name was given to their chronograph line of watches.
Although many consider this reference to be the first Daytona, it was not until almost 1965 that the “Daytona” name actually made its debut appearance on the dial. In those two years before the addition of the Daytona name, Rolex’s chronograph line was known simply as the “Cosmograph” – a name that still remains on the Daytona dials that are manufactured today.
Rolex has three watch lines: Oyster Perpetual, Professional and Cellini (the Cellini line is Rolex’s line of “dress” watches). The primary bracelets for the Oyster line are named Jubilee, Oyster, President, and Pearlmaster. The watch bands on the models are usually either stainless steel, yellow gold, white gold, or rose gold.
